മാലാ പോള

തീരത്തോട് ചേർന്ന കടലിൽ ഉപരിതലത്തിൽ മാത്രം ജീവിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ചെറുമത്സ്യം ആണിത്. കഷ്ടിച്ച് നാലിഞ്ചു വലിപ്പം വരും. ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് മാലാ പോളകൾ കൂട്ടത്തോടെയാണ് സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നത്. കടൽത്തീരവാസികൾ ഭക്ഷണ ആവശ്യത്തിനായി മാലാ പോളകളെ ഉപയോഗിക്കാറില്ല.
