അടുക്കു മത്സ്യങ്ങൾ

പെട്ടി പോലെ ശരീരമുള്ള അഞ്ചിനം അടുക്കു മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ കടലിൽ കാണാം. ഇതിൽ മൂന്നിനങ്ങൾ തീരക്കടൽ പാറപ്പാരുകളിലും രണ്ടിനം സമുദ്ര ഉപരിതലത്തിലും കാണുന്നവയാണ്. അടുക്കുകളെ കറിവക്കാറില്ലെങ്കിലും മുൻകാലങ്ങളിൽ ചിലയിനം അടുക്കുകളെ ചുട്ടു തിന്നുമായിരുന്നു. എല്ലാത്തരം അടുക്കുകളും അടുക്കുകളും വംശദാശ ഭീഷണിയിലാണ്.

ADUKKU MATHSYANGAL

Five species of Adukku Mathsyangal with their bodies like boxes are found in the seas of Thiruvananthapuram. Three of these species are found on the coastal rocky reefs and two on the ocean surface. Although these fishes are not consumed as curry, some species were roasted and eaten in the past. All species of this fishes are endangered.
