കസ്ക് ഈലുകൾ
ഇതിന് പ്രത്യേക പ്രാദേശിക പേര് ഇല്ല. കാരണം അപൂർവ്വങ്ങളിൽ അപൂർവ്വമായേ ഇത്‌ ലഭിക്കാറുള്ളു. പത്തുവർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുൻപ് ഇത് ഒരു കമ്പവലയിൽ ലഭിച്ചപ്പോൾ എടുത്ത ഫോട്ടോയാണ്. രണ്ടിനങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അപ്പോൾ അവിടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന കടൽപ്പണിക്കാർക്കും ഇതേപ്പറ്റി വലിയ ധാരണ ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാൽ പുറത്തേക്ക് വലിച്ചെറിയുകയായിരുന്നു. കൂടുതൽ പഠനം അർഹിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കടൽ ജീവിയാണ്.

Cusk Eels

There is no specific local name for this creature, primarily because it is extremely rare to encounter one. This photograph was taken ten years ago when a couple of them representing two different species were caught in a large seine net. Since the fishermen present at the time had little knowledge about them, they simply discarded the catch. It is a marine creature that warrants further study.
