മറ്റു ഞണ്ടുകളിൽ നിന്നും ഏറെ രൂപ വ്യത്യാസമുള്ള ഒരിനം ഞണ്ടാണിത്. കടൽ പണിക്കാർക്ക് ഇതേ സംബന്ധിച്ച് പ്രത്യേക ധാരണയില്ല. അപൂർവമായേ ലഭിക്കാറുള്ളു. ഭക്ഷ്യ യോഗ്യമല്ല. തവള ഞണ്ട് എന്നത് ഗവേഷകർ നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്ന പേരാണ്.
