ഏറ്റവും രുചിയുള്ള മീനുകളിൽ ഒന്നാണിത്. പാര് മത്സ്യം ആണെങ്കിലും എണ്ണത്തിൽ കുറവായേ ലഭിക്കു . ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ ആണ് ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ കടൽ പണിയിൽ ലഭിക്കുന്നതെങ്കിൽ അത് മിക്കവാറും കടൽ പണിക്കാർ തന്നെ കറിക്കെടുക്കും.
അതിനാൽ ഈ മീൻ അപൂർവ്വമായ മാർക്കറ്റുകളിൽ എത്താറുള്ളൂ. ഇതിന്റെ മുള്ളുകൾ വളരെ സോഫ്റ്റ് ആണ്. കരിമ്പ് കടിച്ചു കഴിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ ഈ മുള്ളുകളെ കഴിക്കാൻ പറ്റും.
