എഫ് എം എല്ലിന്റെ അണ്ടർ വാട്ടർ ഡോക്യുമെന്റേഷനിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയ ഒരുപിടി ജീവികളെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള തുടരന്വേഷണത്തിൽ അവ കോറലുകളുടെ തന്നെ ഗണത്തിൽ പെടുന്ന ഹൈഡ്രോസോവനുകൾ ആണെന്ന് മനസ്സിലായി. സാധാരണഗതിയിൽ പുറംലോകത്തിന് ഒരിക്കലും നേരിൽ കാണാൻ ആവാത്ത ജീവികളിൽ ഒന്നാണിത് എന്ന് കരുതാം. കാഴ്ചയിൽ പൂത്തുലഞ്ഞു നിൽക്കുന്ന ചെടികൾ പോലെ എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ അത് അതിശയോക്തിപരമല്ല. Valiyathura പാലത്തിനടിയിലെ കടലിൽ പഴയ പാലത്തിന്റെ അവശിഷ്ടങ്ങളിൽ നിറയെ കാണാം.

Hydrozoans

There is little general awareness about these organisms. Further investigation into a group of creatures discovered during FML's underwater documentation revealed them to be hydrozoans organisms belonging to the same biological group as corals. They can be considered creatures that the outside world rarely, if ever, gets to see in person. It is no exaggeration to say that they resemble plants in full bloom. They can be found in abundance on the remnants of the old bridge submerged beneath the Valiyathura Bridge. Beautiful hydrozoans are also found at Kandamthinni Para.
